Literally binged every episode to ensure Brian won, I was so proud of the guy for his integrity and general attitude throughout the show, easily the most deserving competitor in any game show I've seen ever

What i learned from the trust was that people's guts might give them some "feeling" that something is off with someone's behavior, but that the feeling should be carefully examined. What i disliked about Tolu is that there was no self-examination and no ability to step outside of her "gut" and examine its prejudices, judgments, etc. I mean, I am a Black woman. A sixty-four year old black woman. And i have lived long enough to know that a gut feeling simply tells us half the story. Our guts tells us something is off, but our lives, prejudices, selfishness, etc causes us to often misinterpret the gut feeling. From the beginning of the show, when Tolu trusted her gut to get rid of Juelz I knew she would be the one who would start whispering campaigns against people based on her gut. I suspect she probably does this in real life as well. She's young but her lack of introspection where her gut is concerned and her extreme belief in herself and her gut just turned me off. The "africanness" of her and Winnie didn't affect me. I liked Winnie, but Tolu....not much. I often wonder: How did everyone react when they found out Juelz was a cop? I'm sure Tolu had excuses for herself. I guess i'll see on the reunion show. Am not expecting any self-insight from Tolu, just her excuses and framing everything as her loyalty to her family.

Tolu has African tattoos, African earrings, African pendants, African attire, any chance she got to speak she shouted she’s African…. But don’t call her African 🙃

Women were definitely the spice in the show. True greed, selfishness, snakes, betrayals, playing their groups, and more.

Tolu's the perfect example of someone who utilizes the label and façade of victim to demonize others, garner control, emotionally manipulate, and justify hurtful selfish behavior. She's completely unreflective and projects onto other's her own bad intentions.

As much as I did not like Tolu when the show began and the girls had the power, I have to give her props, she played that game. When she told Winnie that "There's always a way" when they realized they were not the majority anymore, she did not give up and "played" the other players, allowing her to, not only get to the finals but also won a large sum of money. Love her or hate her, she played the game. Regardless of what folks on or off the show think, IT WAS A GAME TO BE PLAYED.

Jake has a child?? He didn’t mention it once on the show, interesting how he kept his personal life pretty private.

The negativity of Winnie and Tolu though...You all came in negative and left negatively. ....(and yes I am black too. Character trumps complexion anyday).
