in last episode of Battle Cats i made the worst mistake ever RIP

⚠Here are some tips/info⚠:

- Regarding the normal gacha, ALWAYS upgrade your normal cats using the cat capsule (something happens when they get to lvl 30 (you can only level them up to lvl 20 which is why you need the + lvls from the cat capsule)).
- You will eventually buy and use the Special rarity cats, but you don't need to worry about them yet.
- There is a way to track the units you will get from the CAT FOOD gacha (you can do your research, it is legal so dw about it), HOWEVER if you decide NOT to use that method, i suggest saving your catfood and using it whenever you have an 100% Uber guaranteed pull (doesnt happen too often but still).
- Many of the Rare/Super rare units are WAY BETTER than most Uber units (there is one more secret rarity which i am not going to spoil).
- You are currently at the ''tutorial'' phase of the game (Empire Of Cats)
- If you get duplicate Ubers I STRONGLY suggest keeping them in the storage and DO NOT convert them to XP (only if absolutely necessary!
- Every chapter has these things called ''treasures'', you WILL need them so i suggest you grind for them (the wiki has all the info you need)
- The Battle Cats Wiki is going to be the best place for you to see the actual stats of every unit in the game if you ever need to.

You don't *need* to spend money to have fun (if you're willing to grind), but if you are going to buy something, get the Gold Pass. It's really good catfood value for the price

I’m gonna quickly say this that superfest and epicfest is REALLY good banners to summon on and it’s ok to use 30 cat food summon. Use catfoods on discounted rolls and items. (items will be important later and by items I mean the power up’s such as, rich cat, sniper cat, speed up, etc.) There is gonna be a free 1k cat food coming tomorrow or Monday for the anniversary event so make sure to complete EoC (empire of cats - chapter 1)

I’m gonna stop writing here cuz I feel like some battle cats veteran is gonna write an essay on what you need to do (also please read replies in comments like this since there’s more people talking about this that could a help a little)

As a veteran with way too much time on this game, I'm super excited to see this develop into a series.

Also, getting 2 1% drop rate cats in the form of brainwashed axe and bird before an Uber rare (5% drop) hurts my soul. Those are unironically rarer than the waifus.

With the anniversary event coming soon, you will have more catfood than you'll know what to do with. Try to clear EoC (Empire of Cats) chapters 1 through 3 until then. The rewards will be worth it.

The anniversary event is coming soon, and you can get SOOO much great rewards. You can get a platinum ticket, which will give you a guaranteed Uber super rare, and a legend ticked, which gives you a 95% chance at an Uber and a 5% chance at a legend rare. A 5% chance is HUGE compared to a 0.3% chance in regular rolls

I’m just going to add on to this..

Focus on upgrading ninja cat (and the brainwashed cats too), They make the game 10x faster [Also earlygame is easily the worst part of this game because you need to grind treasures in order to make the rest of the game playable (all treasure upgrades are permanent btw)] (Also use every new Gacha unit you get, don’t sell them) (Also make sure you use the normal cats from the regular cat capsule too because something cool will happen when you get them to level 30)

-Treasures are an essential part of the entire game (Each main story chapter has 48 treasures you have to get) They have a ~35% chance to drop after completing a stage (in any rarity), You can see your treasures by clicking on Menu -> Treasures.

-Each set amount of treasures will contribute to a unique upgrade, *You have to collect all treasures (in any rarity) in that set in order to get the benefits of it*

-There are 3 rarities of treasure: Inferior, Normal and Superior, If you get a non-Superior treasure you can upgrade it (to normal or superior) by completing the same stage again (and hope the 35% chance doesn’t fail) The rarity of the treasure(s) also contributes to the power of the upgrade (You can check the power percentage near the top of the screen of an acquired treasure)

-Also yes, at this point of game you have to grind for these (Thankfully the energy cost for these stages has been halved because of the anniversary event, which is starting tomorrow on the 16th of your local timezone)
It can take up to 10+ tries to get a superior treasure (That’s why I said to upgrade ninja cat and the brainwashed cats, they have short cooldowns and can be spammed for quick and easy wins)

Some Random tips:
-Hip Hop Cat insanely good single target damage, upgrading them would be good
-You can check the Unit Stats on the wiki because they aren't listed in game
-in the Menu there is a slidable door, if you slide it enough time in a short time you get a special cat "Flower Cat". They useless rn but will be for something later
-Upgrading Ubers is fine but not recommended as the upgrade cost collectively to lvl 10 is about 1M XP, half a Million for lvl 9-10

Hey Mike, you're progressing pretty good so far! You have some good gachas so far and a petty good uber rare unit. Just wanted to give you some tips.
First tip is to always use tickets on Super Fest, Epic Fest, or Uber Fest since they have a higher uber rate (Epic and Uber fest have 9% uber rate, Super Fest has a 10% uber rate) These fest banners also include every uber (besides seasonal ones) from every banner, including fest exclusives which are some of the most broken units in the game. Also, when rolling on banners, you wanna always use every new unit you get for user rank dump, even if it's a bad unit. Once you've used most of the gacha units, you can start selling units that just do negative affects towards traits such as pirate, witch, stilts, etc. It's usually nice to at least have +2 on them though so you can save a bit of xp, but that isn't really important right now in your current spot in the game. Also, always use every unit you get from the silver tickets, even if they're dupes. You want to get them as boosted as possible because they'll still be used in the lategame of battlecats. Also, Monday is when the 10th Anniversary for Battle Cats starts, so get ready. You'll be getting some insane rewards such as a ton of catfood (estimated to be around 4k), a platinum ticket (gives a guranteed uber), and 2 legend tickets (Basically platinum ticket but with a 5% chance to get a Legend Rare unit). Anyways, goodluck during your progression in battle cats!

You should consider buying ninja cat again. He carries hard in the early game due to red being a very prominent ememy type. If you dont want to buy him right away, that's totally fine because I believe that there is going to be a sale during the anniversary event that will make the special cats cost half the cat food. With that said, you should definitely consider getting ninja cat again at some point.

during a stage with power ups, you can temporarily disable them by tapping on them. you can’t turn off rich cats, treasure radars, and cat jobs.

you can also change the layout of the load out to show all equipped cats at once in the settings.

Also that shield you saw is when a cat has the ability to dodge attacks. If a cat does dodge a attack they can’t be hurt for the remainder of the dodge. Also suntan cat can only dodge traitless enemies

Here some tips for you on your battle cats journey!
You can meat shield with cheap cats that have low cooldowns in production to protect your stronger cats, such as cats that out range certain enemies and do some pretty good damage.

Always read the descriptions/stats of cats to see what they're good at so you know what to bring if you're stuck on a level, for example, anti-("trait") or ("debuff") on ("trait") [traits are the enemies colors or types. Each one has their own unique challenge such as aliens being pretty tanky and also strong, and black that are powerhouses and fast, but can get knocked around easily.]

Finally, always save cat food for discount 11 draws on a guaranteed uber drop, unless you're looking for a specific loot pull from a banner then go for it, but it's best for the free uber when starting out.

I just wanted to cover 2 things. 1:spending money and 2: brainwashed cats

If you spend money I would hold off untill the after the anniversary that’s coming up as you can get a ton of free cat food. (1000 twice I think) if you do, only buy either the gold pass as it comes with infinite speed ups, or that one deal that gives 777 cat food and a bunch of rare tickets.

DO NOT buy cat food by itself or the super expensive “high value deals” with cat fruits, battle items or xp. Xp and cat fruit are both easily farmable by themselves later on, and buying catfood raw is really expensive.

The brinwashed cats are rarer variants of normal cats that have different traits. Axe cat curses, bird cat does massive damage against traitless, etc.

0:25 good job, also this is the perfect time to be playing battle cats as the. 10th anniversary is coming up, that means free platinum ticket and 2 legend tickets. Platinum tickets are basically a free uber voucher while legend ticket are almost the same except you get a 5% chance to draw a legend rare


5:24 brainwashed bird is one of the only cat units that are built to deal with traitless enemies(those being the ones without color and are on the ground) as it deal ×3 damage against traitless.brainwashed cats are only obtained thru seasonal gatcha and they're one of the only cats that get their tru form via beating a stage, there are other parallels to the normal cat units those being the lil variants, the brainwashed variants, and the crazed variants. As you know, brainwash and lils are only obtained via gatcha(minus their true forms), crazed however are only obtained through beating specific stages that appear on specific dates. These are what players focus on next after they beat empire of cats ch 3 and are some if the best units in terms of utility

8:45 one last thing I swear, boogie cat is actually one you want to buy(not right now but you should down the line) as boogie cat is a cheap meat shield and is need for specific stages mainly crazed stages


Edit: one is rewarded thru beating empire of cats ch1, one thru log in, and one thru beating a specific event stage(basically also after beating chapter 1 as thats when you unlock stories of legend)
