I haven't read any of these and they all sound so good. I've been hearing good stuff of The Measure lately and I really want to get my hands on it.

The Housemaid is on my tbr shelf…glad to hear you enjoyed it! I read one of those Patterson books years ago - think it was 4th of July…I would love to check the first one out at some point. Thanks for another great list!

Saving Noah sounds really intriguing. I've been meaning to read Reconstructing Amelia ever since its release - thanks for reminding me! I haven't read Frida McFadden before, but The Housemaid sounds good. The Measure sounds fascinating - I usually enjoy dystopian novels, too. Like you said, they're usually thought-provoking. And, no, I would not want to know my string length! As for my favorite thrillers of 2022, I'm really enjoying the Ann Kinnear series by Matty Dalrymple (and I don't read many series!). The River (read in 21) and The Guide (read in 22) by Peter Heller are both excellent thrillers set in nature. Hope you enjoy your books in 2023, too!

I’ve read all except Saving Noah and The Housemaid. The Housemaid is on my unread shelf. I intend to read it soon. ❤️. The Measure was wonderful.

I love Patterson as well and I’m usually not into detective stories. The Measure was my top read of 2022❤

I ordered Saving Noah after hearing you talk about it on another video. I just got The Measure from the library. Hoping it doesn’t freak me out. 😂

You just put into words my feelings and hesitation in reading the measure. While it sounds interesting I think I will pass for my mental well being.

Coffee with Chloe this morning! I also loved The Measure. I read another Lucinda Berry and didn’t care for it. I think I’ve been spoiled for Saving Noah because I saw details of the book. Question: do the Patterson books have terrible language? It seems to me that I tried to read the first one that you held up. I don’t mind some language but it’s hard for me to get past using Jesus or God as a swear word. I’m not sure I can root for your Chiefs against the Jags since I’m a native Floridian but I do love Patrick!!

I read The Housemaid last year. Look for trigger warnings. I am reading the next book called The Housemaid's Secret.
