Largest quarried stones ever used in the construction. Probably could have been one of the wonders of the world if people who made those lists at the time realized the difficult engineering involved in making this.

Two Roman Temples there. The smaller Bacchus temple in better shape and the much larger temple of Jupiter with only a quarter of it still standing. Long before the Romans even existed it was a main religious site for the Cannanite's and thier latter Phoenician ancestors to the God Baal.

The Temple complex was built by. Indian Engineers and workers. The school text books in Lebanon are stated to include a chapter about this. The solid evidence are LOTUS FLOWERS.
