In Diablo 4, leveling up your character to 100 and maximizing your Paragons and Glyphs is an important step in the progression of your build. In this video I go over which Glyphs are the most powerful and why you want to focus on them in particular.

I really hope they change the Exploit glyph so it applies Vuln to all classes. This would open up so many more Build options/playstyles for Sorc. - You are pretty much Forced into picking Frost nova no matter the build, that is really restrictive to creative designs.

The one exception to buffing rare/magic nodes for damage is vulnerable damage ofc. I don't know if all classed have access to vulnerable damage nodes on the paragon board but rogue certainly does.

It's weird how Necro (and Sorc) doesn't have the Exploit auto Vuln Effect, has it's conditional Damage reduction node not next to any Glyph, so it can't be boosted, etc. - there are so many little design disadvantages (besides the major obvious ones, like zero mobility) that they for some reason packed into this class (which wouldn't be there if they even just copy and pasted, like they took active steps to make those classes perform worse, it's strange).

Vulnerable seems a bit too strong and mandatory. They should probably either make it additive (while keeping the base x20% multiplier of the vulnerable statut as it is) or maybe transform the "deal increased damage to vulnerable" stat to "increased effect of vulnerable".

It almost feels like the multiplicative nature of the vulnerable damage is unintended. The rolls on gears and the bonus from parangons are in the same ranges as other sources of damage increase, the wording hints at an additive multiplier like any other stats... I would not be surprised if they just changed how vulnerable works in the future. I hope they don't balance the rest of the game around vulnerable damage, like nerfing the classes that use vulnerable, and then realise they need to change vulnerable to its core.

The control glyph has 20%[x] increased damage to Stunned or Frozen enemies as the additional bonus. Doesn't the [x] before the percentage imply that this is in fact a multiplier on its own compared to its main effect that states +14.4% inc damage to cced enemies which is additive just like all the gear affixes. The %[x] is used on all the nodes on the skill tree and on the aspects that everyone is running and assuming are their own multipliers. Why should the 20%[x] increased damage to Stunned or Frozen on Control be additive? It has the multiplier wording as well and provides twice the bonus on both its additive and multiplicative buffs compared to Flamefeeder for an Ice Shard sorc but everyone keeps recommending Flamefeeder. What am I missing?

I love this paraboard and glyph builds lol. Huge learning curv. Current lvl 78 on ice shard/blizzard build pushing nm 97 solo. My friends have similar builds that have trouble at +5 and their dmg number barely break 20000. Mine is aver 65000 to max crit of 1.1mil. I found that the enchant glyph is one of a kind for sorc! Scales you non phys dmg ie cold into the clouds and since this is what your cries are basing off, is most important. So sorc starter board enchant glyph grab all rare and magic nodes and enjoy! My current cold dmg is 246% is over 198 more than my friends builds lol! Enchant glyph does

The fact that nightmare dungeons are only a small subsection of the total dungeons and are the only way to get glyph xp is a bit too grindy for sure..

The additional effect of Exploit on a sorc says additional damage 1%[x] which would indicate multiplicative rather than additive. Is that not the case? Also the Destruction glyph additional bonus is 2%[x] damage for every critical hit for 6 seconds. So a max of 12%[x] on level 1 glyph.

At 2:45 you talk about how most other additional bonusses are rather minor, mentioning "A 10% damage bonus here... A 10% damage reduction there". Isn't a 10% damage reduction HUGE compared to a 10% (additive) damage bonus, since damage reduction is so much harder to come by? Thanks for yet another great video :)

You're videos have been insanely useful! Thank you!

if you use the buffing glyphs on the exploit board you pretty much get a second exploit glyph with all the additional vuln dmg

is it better to run 4 glyphs with more rare nodes or 5 glyphs with less points for rare nodes?

I think if you play Freeze Sorc then Control is better than Exploit imho, both use dex for damage boost but one is better than the other
Chill/Freeze is either as easy if not easier to apply than Vulnerable, it gives the same bonus damage from the basic passive but the bonus is actually better cause you always have 10% more damage without the need to get the stacks AND you actually deal 20% instead of 10% to frozen enemies.
