The First Battle of Panipat, on 21 April 1526, was fought between the invading forces of Babur and the Lodi dynasty. It took place in North India and marked the beginning of the Mughal Empire and the end of the Delhi Sultanate. This was one of the earliest battles involving gunpowder firearms and field artillery in the Indian subcontinent which were introduced by Mughals in this battle.

Babur was born in afghanistan. His dad was an afghan from Turkish background and his mom was afghan from Mongol background. Yes he wasn't a pashtun. He was mixed race of Uzbek, mongol.

Just for correction Babur didn't introduce cannons in India, it was well known in the southern part of India, like to Zamorin and Vijaynagar empires because of european traders and armies but in the north it was first seen by Babur.

Babur has an army of just 80, 000 and Rana sanga had an army of more than 2, 00, 000 troops including some muslim rulers helping But babar won because he had cannons with him and bulls 🐂 are behind those cannon and hindus disallowed to attack them.... And none of an single indian ruler had seen cannon.... Its first time for all to face cannon.... In order to get relief from them lot of rajput troops just break into the cannon and died.... Their flesh and blood ruined the cannon... After some hours sanga again gain his lead but one hindu ruler(salhadi tanwar) betrayed and with his 35, 000 horse met with This lead to a great setback for sanga.... And it is the first battle of life in which he was defeated.... He fought 107 battle in life and won 106 Sanga was only defeated in battle.... But not killed by anyone.... But his chief betrayed him because after 1 year he again decided to attack on But some think it is just suicide for all to face cannons.... So they give sanga poison 🙏🏻🚩
