It would be nice if Ford had put some type of center console between the rear captain's chairs for storage/cup holders. I had an '09 Mazda 5 that had one. When it wasn't needed or you wanted more floor space, the passenger side seat bottom folded forward and you could flip the center console over (it was hinged onto the passenger seat) and store it under the seat bottom. In fact, both seat bottoms hid storage areas underneath, great for hiding purses/smaller items from prying eyes.

I'm wondering if I will be feeling the road while driving. The wife wants a vehicle for city errands, yet be able to travel 6-8 hours to Disney World Orlando. She does like the Ford Edge, but I don't think it will match the cargo capacity of the Ford Transit Connect Wagon. I guess in the end test driving the two vehicles is the only way to figure this out.

Tire space from fender is tight.
Do you make tires.
With thick space treads.
For ruff road. Smooth wheels.
Fine. Dirt roads, muds or ice.
Need mini traction tire.
Without taking space. From
Shield space.

Does XLT has enough bells and whistles? Or people need to go Titanium trim?

I’m considering one of these for hauling my friends from church for activities and Sunday service, and well as a family hauler when me and my girlfriend eventually marry and have kids. How good would this vehicle be long term wise? I drive 30, 000+ miles per year.

Can you turn the Heat/AC on from the front control's? Or do you have to be in the second row?

Great review. Would have been nice to see how the 3rd row folds down or is removed.

I removed the useless 3rd row seats, much better as a 4 passenger with tins if extra room. Great fir camping with liftgate awning. I leveled-lifted my front end to match the back, front end was way to low. Average van.

Frankly, WHen you gave the cargo dimensions, you are standing next to the XL wheelbase, and giving dimensions for the standart. WOuld it have been so hard to have both? Little nip pick, but...
