This chapter makes me believe more in the theory that conquers haki can stop someone’s Devilfruits. When Shanks used it on Greenbull we saw that Greenbull changed from his tree form into his base form in an instant. And when Joyboys haki hit the five Gorosei they got turned back into their human form. A high level usage of conquers might be the reason.

If that’s true Kaido was definetly right about haki being able to transcend all

If Oda is referencing Fullmetal Alchemist with alchemy here, I wonder if Emeto is to Joyboy as Alphonse is Edward Elric. The younger brother or a family-member who lost his body, and was "sealed" within armor by the older Joyboy. Joyboy protects Emeto, and Emeto thinks he'll be lonely without JB in the future. Emeto is almost child-like. A LOT like Fullmetal Alchemist's themes. Fullmetal Alchemist started a few years after One Piece, and ended during about One Piece's Summit War.

The reason why saturn stayed on egghead is because all the other elders didn't actually physically go there besides satrun? Its satrun who summoned them and when joyboy's haki overwhelmed them his powers got stopped for a bit, which took them back to their original place

Imo Koby wasn’t referring to stopping Luffy as a person. I think he’s acknowledging that Koby himself going after the OP puts him in DIRECT opposition to Luffy’s dream hence his quote. I don’t think he was saying he’s physically gonna stop Luffy.

I believe that Mars just “undid” his transformation because he was launched too far away or because he was out of Imu’s range (hang with me here).
Because Imu was in their knees in the end, and someone came to “the rescue” by seeing their distress, I believe that Imu was the one who summoned them there. Joyboy’s haki directly forced Imu to use all their power to keep the Gorosei in that island, but they were forced back. I believe that Imu’s haki is SO POWERFUL that it can travel long distances and that is why Oda introduced Shank’s “wifi” haki in Wano. Saturn, being at the island and being one of Imu’s satellites, acts like a “wifi repeater”.

An interesting thing about Koby's comment that I don't really see anyone talking about is that he isn't actually aware what Luffy's dream is. He believes it's to be Pirate King, but we know PK is just a means to an end in achieving said dream and that Sabo and the Strawhat crew are the only people alive that know what it is. Koby may be a part of the big reveal when Luffy finally tells us what that dream is.

Its kind a obvious from conversation, JoyBoy knew when Emeth will use his Haki. He was able to see the future ( dont know how, maybe haki so strong it can go 800 years in the future ). JB saw specific time in the future when Imu could be defeated and he left all those tools and means to be used when the time is right. Like Nika-Nika no mi fruit, Emeth, giant ship NoAh, poneglyphs, Ancient Weapons, Zunesha etc . Thats why when Roger arrived at Laugh Tale he said they where to early and he decided to make a spark for a new generation of pirates who will beat Imu.
