This tutorial is literally _perfect._ Just pair with the tcg learning app and it’s so easy to understand the rules

BASIC SUMMARY:
1. Deck composed of:
- 1 Leader card
- 50 Characters (main deck)
- 10 DON!! cards
2. Observe the playmat
3. Start game and decide who goes first. Each player draws 5 cards. Take a number of cards from the top of your deck equal to the leader card's Life Value and place them face down in the Life area.

BATTLE POSITIONS
- Active (vertical)
- Rest (horizontal)

SUMMONING A CHARACTER CARD
Each character card has a cost that's needed to summon it. To pay a card's cost, you rest the required no. of DON!! cards.

START
Unrest your cards > Draw one card (player going first skips) > Take 2 DON!! cards (player going first takes only one) > Attack > End

ATTACK
To attack rest the leader /character card. You can attack the opponent's leader, or one of their character cards. If your card's attack points r higher or equal to your opponent's card, your card wins the combat. When a leader loses in battle after being attacked, the player takes one Life card from their Life slot and adds it to their hand. Nether player can attack on their first turn. A monster can't attack the turn it is summoned. If a character card loses in combat, it is sent to trash zone.
* You can give active DON!! cards to your card to increase its attack power by 1000 (only for your turn)
* Characters having a trigger sign on them can active their trigger effect without paying any cost.
* When one of your character is attacked, you can use counter effects. After using its effectsend it to the trash zone

I was so invested in the game that I wanted to see who will win the fight among those two.

I’ve never seen a single episode of one piece but my friends love that show, and they bought me a starter deck so I can join them as we learn how to play. I ended having a lot of fun, so now I want to build a competitive deck and study what’s meta at the moment lol.

I see corporations are still pretending the average age of TCG fans is under 15.

This tutorial is well made. Explanations were fun, clear and concise. Props to the folks behind it. =)

Okay, I can get behind this. I like that they have counter effects on cards. Makes it more interesting. You have to think about your actions because they might not work out with your opponents counter effects. I can't wait to get my hands on this.

After trying out this TCG with a friend today at my local game store (we both played for the very first time), the only part we struggled with was how Combat was conducted during the main phase. We thought similar to how Magic the Gathering combat works, but not quite the same. Literally the reason why I looked up this tutorial, for more clarification.

Note: the local game store did not hold any OPCG product, so I had brought two of my own starter decks (Kaido and Sakazuki) for both me and my friend- she sorta understood the game as did I.

Either way, I'm a One Piece fan, so collecting the sets isn't out of the question!!

"A card game where you built a deck of your favorite characters to battle with" oh sweet naive summer child, thats not how TCGs work

I just wanna say you can tell she’s really scared of Kaido but she still picked Luffy. That’s so brave and we are here for you queen ❤❤❤
