We can use Python command prompt and idle interactive interface or we can write the program in a simple text editor like notepad and execute the program using cmd.

We also can use IDLE to write the program, save it as a file and run it.

@LearningLad I got an error in the directory when trying to load the file saying "Python was not found; run without arguments to install from the microsoft store, or disable this shortcut from settings" but i do have python 3.10 installed on my computer

i got a problem with the 'python' command it says in cmd that : python is not recognized as an internal or external command. i've tried to change the Path in Environment Variables into the python file and did'nt work. i think the path navigation could be wrong that lead into error. btw i use spyder as the text editor.

What if my file doesn't say, "Python File" and instead says, "Python Source File"??? What do I do about that??? I can't get it to work like this, even when I had python installed.
