I'm just learning html/css atm and i am about to start js. I'm quite keen to freelance on wordpress in the near future and I was just wondering what you reckon I should learn to do this. I'm currently planning on learning some js, php and bootstrap before starting, so that I can create some custom templates, etc... Any advice is much appreciated :)

Couple other things: make regular backups of your Wordpress site. When you need one and don't have one it's a disaster. Don't use "admin" as your admin user name. Don't reuse passwords on your Wordpress site, get and use a password manager. Do the same for your Wordpress site host.

These 5 are pretty accurate to be honest, i'd probably tag on, beginners or junior etc tend to lean towards plugins for everything which is... yikes

Most WordPress developers don't understand web performance. They created beautiful but bloated and slow sites that will end up hurting the client's bottom line in the future. Google now indexes the mobile version of your site first, so if you are not testing performance, your site will be soon penalized.

If I was looking for problems with no solutions this would have been the perfect video. I have no idea who is going to find value in this, but I sure didn't. I am very interested in both security and the template hierarchy, but you provided absolutely nothing of value on either. If you had left the fine graphics of the template hierarchy up for 20 seconds the video would have been twice as useful.
