What does Rashford hold over the English media?

For someone who has been in football for so long, I have to question Henry Winter’s understanding of the game if 1. He thinks that Rashford can play as striker and 2. He deserves another chance to prove himself.

No other player gets as much excuses made for them about poor individual performances. It’s the manager, he doesn’t have an overlapping left back, he’s better on the right, he’s better as a striker, it’s the formation, he’s lacking confidence, he’s an introvert, he broke up with his girlfriend Maybe just maybe he’s not the player some of thought he was going to be. Guess what, that’s okay.

He’s got this club in a chokehold. Everytime he steps on the pitch, we’re playing with 10 men and he’s raking in a king’s salary.

I’ll leave you guys with this. Marcus Rashford gets paid roughly the same amount as Mo Salah and has been for a while, now let that sink in 🎤 drop

Why is there this perception that Rashford is quick. He’s lost more than a yard of pace. Seen him done in race a few times this season

There's nothing better than an academy player tearing it up. I'm so disappointed that Rashdird hasn't been able to turn things around. His confidence looks gone and a move would probably be best for him. It's a shame cos he has had some great moments.

Feel like we’ve been run so bad for so long someone has to come in and make tough decisions to get us back on track. Every department is being judged individually and has to run at a profit. It sucks now but hopefully in five years the club is in a better place
