I watched the game and Goffin should have won this one easily. He missed some very easy shots on break points in the 3rd. Just missing a bit of competition on tight moments but his level is clearly top 50 by now. He must keep going.

Mattia played very well. I think prior to this match David had won seven matches in a row on grass (5 in a Challenger and two in the qualifying rounds) so most likely he was a bit tired here. Anyway, I wish the best for both. I am a fan of Goffin and I think when he plays his best without injuries he can beat just about anyone.
