Jesus is NOT God aka The Messiah is NOT Yahweh.

There is a huge debate about who The Messiah is and where we first see Him in scripture. For many the concept of agency is foreign because it’s never been taught to Israel. We will do a brief study on how and why The Messiah is not The Most High and in future videos we will start comparing prophecy from the Old Testament with The New Testament to bring clarity with scripture and not opinions as so many are offering us in this day and age. Yahweh warned us of our adversary the devil the who roams like a lion seeking whom he may devour. Let’s not allow anymore lies or attacks by taking control of every thought and studying to show ourselves approved. Friend, this is lengthy. I am sorry for that. But I’ve struggled with similar thoughts as yours & finally broke thru when I realized where they led. God was so Kind & Gracious in dealing with me. Jesus said in John Chapter 8, “Unless you believe that I am, you will die in your sins.”
The wording “who I say that I am” was added by later translators. It’s not in the source documents.
Also, Jesus accepted worship. If He is not the same in Divinity as the Father, He was guilty of sin. And we know That our Lord never sinned.”

In the Old Testament, YHVH & the unique being called “The Angel of YHVH” are both considered Divine; both are worshiped; and the references to them appear interchangeable! This “The” Angel of the LORD is clearly Jesus Christ. Zechariah 12.
In Philippians, Paul tells us that it is no crime for Jesus to apply Divine standing to Himself “who being in very nature God”.

Please study the Books of Galatians & Hebrews again & again. I went thru a similar struggle as you years ago. I saw several that I thought were brothers in Christ leave the true Faith into this hybrid Jewish-Christian thing that they thought would make them more acceptable to modern day Jews.

Dr Ken Johnson is shedding amazing light into what genuine Biblical Judaism really looked like in the Second Temple Period. He is translating & publishing the Dead Sea Scrolls very quickly. The Essenes were a widespread & very popular movement in Judaism. Their Doctrine was predictive of & amazingly similar to that of modern Evangelical Christianity. Pauline Doctrine is closely aligned with Essene writings.

What happened to the Essenes you might ask? They became the Ekklesia

Modern day Rabbinical Judaism is the spiritual descendant of the Pharisees, those Jews who rejected Jesus as their Messiah. They went to great lengths to distort the Truth surrounding His Ministry. And quite frankly, their interpretation of The Bible is very wrong. Jesus criticized them more than any other group. He despised their manmade traditions. They call that Talmud today.

The Tribulation will be 0:56 primarily a final chastisement of physical Israel (Jews) for rejecting Yeshua. Praise God that so many are coming to Faith these days! And Praise God that a Remnant will be saved when they Repent and acknowledge their error concerning Yeshua (Zechariah 12).

The Mo’edim, the Sabbath, the Law, and even the Bible itself are only important because they point us to Jesus Christ! Don’t be led astray.

Jesus said, “on that day, many will say to me, “ Lord, Lord, didn’t we preach in your name, teach in your name, cast out demons in your name?” I will tell them plainly, Depart from Me, you workers of iniquity. I never knew you.”

It’s not about keeping festivals, new moons, dietary laws, or even doing the more important good works of preaching, teaching & casting out demons.” Ultimately, it’s about having an intimate, personal relationship with Jesus Christ on His terms! This is exactly the same thing as knowing, loving & serving God the Father, God the Son & God the Holy Spirit.
