The way he says "listen" should be a notification sound.

Green Book looked so cheesy to me. But since watching your videos I learnt "so what". I've given so many movies chances that I wouldn't have and I can't wait to see this.

Hentai offers a unique perspective on an otherwise taboo side of life

It's just a good movie, I hate most Oscar bait, bit this was really enjoyable and just over all fantastic

And it helps that it has 2 great leads

I enjoyed this movie, but seriously — the big “I don’t know where I belong” speech where he walks out of the car in the rain for no reason was really transparent

Even at the trailer, I never saw this as a movie about Don Shirley. It was clearly Tony Lipp’s story. I loved it. Granted those two could have read the phone book at each other and they would have made Oscar worthy performances.

I absolutely loved this movie.

Things I like: it focus on the individuality of each person, how racism is not only perpetrated by the same people or race or gender.

It clearly makes a difference between discrimination and harmless stereotypes.

Both characters grow from each other, from themselves and from other characters.

It's fucking hilarious, I couldn't stop laughing all the time.

That first 20 seconds is crazy to hear in 2024. Those very things you call this movie out for have become mainstream in the current cinema landscape

This won over Roma and BlacKkKlansman...

Unforgivable.

Your finishing commentary -- how the movie has potential to create controversy and spurn hatred if it wins awards -- was so spot on I thought you made this video today. Excellent analysis that also apparantly is foretelling.

Man I honestly loved this movie. There were A LOT of movies that I had higher expectations for, but this one was the one that really surprised me! I would love for it to win best movie...

The whole thing about the inaccuracies of Don Shirley doesn't bother me because the film specifically was marketed as INSPIRED by a true story. Not BASED on a true story. There's a huge difference between the two. Yes, the writers used the real life names of the characters that inspired the story, but essentially it's an original story that creates it's own themes and it's own narratives.

I am here to figure out why people would hate on such a fantastic movie about a friendship. This is one of my all-time favorite movies.

I thought this movie was very watchable. I thought the controversy about it was a bit much. The movie isn't really about race relations in America, but a relationship between two seeming opposing people.
