Today could be the day
you fall in love with everything,
silently.
Without telling anyone yet.
Every stranger you past
the charming endearing lovely
story streaming down their face.
Today could be the day
your stories crumble
dismantled with no warning
like landslides do.
Today could be the day
you realize your name
isn't really your name.
The trees and the ocean
don't call you by that name
and the animals couldn't care less
about your story
and yet
they feel all of you
in an innermost unspeakable way.
Today could be the day
the stories you thought undeniable
hard as stones
become paper thin
dust in the wind
finding no where to hold on.
Today could be the day
you unexpectedly dissolve
and become
what you are absorded in.
Today could be the day
everything you are most afraid of
shows its kind and gentle face.
Today could be the day
you effortlessly drop
all the unnessary weapons
you have been carrying all along.
Today could be the day
you feel the harmlessness of everything
even with their scary mask on
you can hear the fearful soft animals
weeping behind
or life asking you
to love her fearlessly
in all of her wild beauty.
Today could be the day
for she is just a gift.
And the most precious gift
you could ever think of.
To feel you
to feel her
to dance with you
and her
and all of us
together
just to see
what a love parade
could look like.
Today could be the day
where everything you thought was wrong
needed to be fixed
now looks perfectly placed.
Today could be the day
you can no longer resist
what has always been loving you
calling you.
Today
yes today could be the day
you fall in love with everything.
