Even though this happened three years ago it makes my blood boil when I think of how coach Brittain and his family were treated. I have known Tommy Brittain since 1981. He is my best friend, was the best man at my wedding and is like a little brother to me. The saddest memory I have of this is that I can recall for certain only two men who had sons on the team who stood up for coach Brittain and fought for him. The rest of the fathers were pathetic cowards. The entire Brittain family were the best thing that ever happened to Tempe Prep. Life goes on. Tommy is now the head coach at St. Mary's and his son Josh is the head coach at Tempe Prep.I fought for Tommy three years ago and I always will. God Bless the Brittain family!!
