Personally feel like the passing has taken a step back, and limits the freedom to much!

In my opinion Konami got it spot on years ago with PES and then ruined all that work with eFootball.

Just imagine how good Pes 25 would be now if they just kept developing what we had with Pes21...
Pes21 with next Gen Graphics a more fluid and responsive Gameplay would be incredible😢

Your review pretty much sums up the majority of what's been said on the discord forums too. Ive been part of the community for over 2 years, closed testing and feedback sessions with the Devs. It started off promising but people feel letdown by this latest open beta and the rumoured 12th sept full launch date which people feel is too soon.

i honestly prefer a little bit of delay on many animations, it makes the gameplay tighter waighteier and it really shows off the speedy guys more

4:07 That's it, they've been talking about how much they were happy about their quite manual defensive system, so I don't understand how they can propose that horrible offensif passing system which is assisted as hell.

Because of that, there is no balance between attack and defense, and they are greatly lowering the skillcap, I can't understand how they though it would be a good idea.
And to compensate that unbalance I think they'll make the defense more assisted instead of making the attack more manual.

I don't want them to propose several assistance level like in Efootball or in Fifa, I think they should propose only one passing assistance which should be fully manual or near that.
Or if they want to please everyone, 2 ranked modes: a fully assisted one, and a fully manual other one.

What is saddening is that I've been looking at players feedback, many of them address the passing accuracy problem, but no one feels bothered by the level of assistance, that's insane!

If the gameplay stays as it is, I wont play that game.

I agree with you that the first beta was much better than this last one, they just needed to reduce the effectiveness of the finesse shots which they did, but somehow they broke passing and made everything related to attacking very automated. The other thing I noticed is the finishing/goalkeepers, sometimes there are shots/chances where goalkeepers have no right to save realistically, but somehow they save them, one-on-ones are harder than scoring from outside the box, which should not be the case.

I am unsure if you heard, but Strikerz announced the release date as September 12th, with early access on September 5th if you BUY some packs. Hopefully, they fix the issues you mentioned before then, otherwise, I am afraid there won't be enough players giving the game a chance with that release date (new EA FC will be released on the same month).

Lastly, We should have a rematch in the official version after all the issues are fixed

Its Daft for anyone to think that a game with significantly less Dev resources can compete or match the main titles with extra resources, despite how complacent those main titles can be.

We really need 2K to stuff it to EA. They are the reason EA stopped making Basketball games. The NBA refused to give EA exclusive rights. That’s what needs to happen with football games. That’s how EA has stayed on top.

EFootball is not faster, it depends on the team play style you play. Possession game slows down everything.
