BJP MP Subramanian Swamy has written a letter to the Election Commission seeking action against MK Stalin-led Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam after some of its leaders called for the 'genocide' of Brahmins in the state. The Rajya Sabha member asked the poll panel to cancel the registration of the DMK for "atrocious" statements by its leaders.
Swamy, known for his sharp remarks, also asked the Election Commission to cancel DMK's election symbol. The BJP MP wrote to the ECI stating that the statement made by R Rajiv Gandhi, the DMK spokesperson, that Brahmins should be subjected to genocide was a violation of the Representation of People’s Act (RPA).

High time someone took on the 'Love' for Brahmins which is widespread in Tamilnadu and often irrational and deep rooted. Thanks Swamy for taking it up and he is just the person to set the butterflies in the stomach of such 'lovers'. Completely unacceptable that such threats are issued against Brahmins, revealing the deep, vindictive attitudes and animosity. Time to put an end to this or make them pay a heavy price.
