I love the page but I do have a question, I constantly see all different mixed media artists go through certain steps that seem completely pointless....such as the clock stamps you added. Why add such details if you’re only going to completely cover all of the stamped images in the very next step?
I understand the concept of layering w/tissue or book paper but not with stamped images that are entirely covered- seems like a waste of time.
If I only saw this once or with one artist, I’d assume they changed their mind & covered them to go in a different direction but I see it so often that I’m wondering if there’s something to it that I’m missing?? 🤷🏼‍♀️
