Hmmm..correct me if I’m wrong, but according to the way you’re doing it and that calculator, you would be paying taxes on EVERYTHING you have made this year, not only on what you’ve sold. If the difference between what you started with and what you have right now, is $18, 761, why are you being taxed on all of it and not only on the stocks you actually executed? Just not real clear for me.

Nukem, is Hyln a dud? Because I can definitely sell it for the purpose of what your talking about. I bought it around $30 and I have been pouring more money in to dollar cost averaging and now I have it down to about $21. I was gonna keep going until I get to about $18 average and if it were to get to $18 then I was gonna sell it. Do you think they will recover or should I just take this opportunity sell for tax purposes?
