Home Affairs offices will open for five hours on Saturdays

From today, the Home Affairs Department will open offices for five hours on Saturdays, from 8am to 1pm. This will continue until the 12th of October to issue temporary identity certificates, allow ID collections, and applications prioritising matriculants and pupils. The department says the initiative aims to enable matriculants to write their exams. Masa Kekana speaks to deputy minister Njabulo Nzuza, who is scheduled to visit the Orlando Home Affairs Office in Soweto.
