When covid hit I moved and missed my friends. Didnt notice I was mad depressed after about 4 months just because of everything happening. I remember spending my first day with my first friend beckett and spending my last day with my first friend beckett having masks on and greeting eachother from a couple foot distance and at the end I remember him saying “Ill see you agian one day” And never seeing him agian. We texted for about 1 year after that occasionally face timing and playing games together but since than I haven’t seen him. Wish I could go back to be hanging out. I have never felt the same since before covid. Its almost as my heart doesn’t want to trust anything as it can go away in a span of a hour. Connections aren’t the same is what im trying to get to. My bonds used to be heavy. Take joy in the past no matter if you where depressed or not. Later I will probably be taking joy in this moment right now.
