1. I think for the left most swipe one one ui 3, you can hide it. Most people hate it and since it's customizable, yah....you can just take it out.
2. For the navigation, I think it's intuitive on both systems. If you start using gestures on one ui, you get used to it just as you get used to it on iOS.

Since I have both OS's I can't believe you though App Library is cleaner than App drawer. Apple should give you the ability to arrange apps in alphabetical order and be able to rearrange/rename the categories to what makes sense to you.

I came from ios 14 to 1ui 3.1, my goodness it's alot more fun than ios tbh . Never knew samsung has gone far since the touch wiz days ..
