Marianna Muntianu has devised all kinds of ways to encourage people to plant trees. She oversees 6,000 volunteers doing just that under the auspices of her 'Plant the Forest' project. The United Nations has named her a Young Champion of the Earth.

Good on you plant more trees I'm trying to plant out most off my 53 Acer farm in Tasmania Australia I'm planting native plants for the bird's and native animals growing back the forest

But remember, we need native trees acording to the place.

Monoculture in tree planting causes an individual species of pest to devastate whole forests. You need to mix species when planting this encourages different insects to balance out pest and predator. Less disease also. Copy more natural forests, including open areas ponds etc.

I use Ecosia's search engine. SO far, I have been told I have helped plant 3 trees, and I am ecstatic! :)

Planting only 1 type of tree isn't good. You need diversification of plant life. If you've ever been in a pine plantation, there's nothing under those trees. No life. Also pine trees are like massive match sticks. Look at what happened in Australia.

They seem to be planting a monoculture of commercially valuable firs. That's not good for biodiversity, you need to plant a variety of native trees including deciduous.

if you would stop planting just 1 same tree across the land your forest will be much more healthy and resilient. you need at least 20species of trees. otherwise that's just a timber plantation, not a forest.

I have same spirit like mariana, Actually i have planted 9 banyan tree at my home. But my father didn't like a banyan tree. He thought, banyan tree doesn't have an advantage. 🙃.
