I love elliot wave. I've mastered it, it is a true edge.

Youtubers love to teach price action trading and elliot waves because they look impressive AF and if they just tell u to use an indicator combo they can't sell u a course or have a signal group.
Also for most traders nailing the exact tops and bottoms make them look way cooler and they love to be right. This is what I realized after 3 years in this space.

Elliot wave is the secret language for the markets, any novice can easily see charts ebb and flow. That opens the discussion to the whole principle. Then it’s snowballs into a lot more than 5-3-5-3-5 and abc. It’s a thing of beauty honestly. Edit: no indicator can tell you like Elliot waves can

I agree this strategy can be really subjective, but I’m curious. Could you use a different chart style to help you see the waves better? Like the Heikin Ashi or Line Break???

if you only work currencies ... especially the lower time frame ... EW does unfold as it should ...but used with an indictor you know well it produces magic results

This strategy still works at least 80% of the time for intraday scalp trading. The only time it doesn't work is when the price action is parabolic or when the trader is NOT disciplined.

I like how you are completely honest about it. and you are right in that there are too much details, especially xyz correction. but still there are some useful details that gives back that systematic feel to it. I think it is good to help spot major trend reverses.. but again it is subject to interpretation and you will need to wait and see if one count is invalidated and then go with another.

Back testing this strat as of now I use daily TF yeah its better to wait than lose the trade for being impatient

This is not a strategy. A strategy must include precise definitions of conditions, entry, stop loss and take profit levels.

Yes don't waste your time on Elliot wave. only thing you need to know is the stock market goes up and then sideways and up sideways up sideways. also use some indicators that will change colors red and green. buy the stock when its green and sell when its red. That's all you need to know to make thousands of dollars a day. you don't have to learn and understand how and why the market does what it does, just remember it goes up and sideways and again up and sideways. lol, it cracked me the fk up when he told dont waste time on elliot wave :D
