Their supposed "friendship" was nothing but a PR stunt for the original film and future sequels. This is quite common in Hollywood. It's all an act to hype up the films.

If you wanna see true chemistry between cast members look at the marvel films especially the avengers cast. Those guys are like family, 100% genuine affection for each other and it shows not only in the films but in their joint interviews and press tours too.

I'd rather Amber was recast, but I'm happy her role is greatly reduced in the second Aquaman film to only 10 minutes. That should be easy to make it through, unlike the original film, which was hard to watch with her wooden acting and resting bitch face. I got through it by muting her parts and reading her lines via subtitles.

The original film was saved only by the other main cast members i.e Jason Momoa, Nicole Kidman, Willem Dafoe, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and the extremely talented Patrick Wilson.

Edited: Just heard that Amber's contract with WB has been cancelled. She will NOT be in any future Aquaman films or indeed any future WB projects. Another win. 😊

When Jason Mamoa followed JD towards the start of the trial, he unfollowed AH. He only just started following her again in the last couple of days… possibly b/c WB made him do it since they starred together (even though WB unfollowed her, lol).
