I took a nice long road test on this bicycle.  If you are looking for a reasonably compliant yet highly responsive road bike, I suggest you ride the R1.  I think you know what I am talking about when I say it has a haunting ride quality, that make you want to get out and ride.  A near pefect mix of great handling, responsive acceleration, and ride compliance that never gets old.  Give this bike a ride!  LG also makes a road shoe with the dial system that is simply, I must have this shoe comfort.  OK, I also rode their lower priced carbon road bike as well. Very Comfortable and Stable... But, that line was not my cup of tea, as the lower priced bike is clearly aimed at the recreational cyclist looking to cruise with comfort.  With this Road Line Up, I think LG, may be a big player in the road market in the U.S.A. in the next couple of years.  I really like that the Carbon R1 bike frameset is the same up and down the equipment line.  It makes for an honest presentation, and makes selecting the bike to fit your budget easy peasy.  Get the lowest price R1 model if you are on a budget, then upgrade over time.  I really appreciate that from such a well established company.
