Joy in the Journey: 40 Years in Ministry | Joyce Meyer

In 1976, when God spoke to Joyce’s heart that she would someday have “a large teaching tape ministry,” she could have only imagined what would happen over the next four decades.

From a Bible study in their home…to airing on a few local radio stations…to eventually reaching a potential audience of two-thirds of the world through the Enjoying Everyday Life TV program, Dave and Joyce have watched the Lord use their ministry to bring help and healing to millions, including missions outreaches that now span the globe.

They recently sat down to discuss ministry milestones, funny moments, how it all began, and the incredible things the Lord has done all along the way.

She’s not just a women’s teacher. The same word is for everyone

Thoughts of doubt says your trusting yourself. Thoughts and acts of faith says your trusting God

Society is messed up. They haven’t tried God . They’ve tried some form of religion that hasn’t brought them life. Jesus is the truth and life

When God puts a dream in your heart. Wether it’s ministry. Marriage. Level of education. Etc. You always see the finish product

Many people are hurting so bad that they couldn’t even hear the word if you didn’t help them with their practical situation

Their meetings grew from 200, 400, 700, and 1000.

God doesn’t share his glory with anyone. God let’s you work with him and partner with him. But God gets all the glory

She said, people ask what is God's vision for your life. She replied, God's vision is being fulfilled in her life everyday.

Jesus taught the word. And he helped hurting people with their practical needs.

I first heard about Joyce back in the 80's, when I found a bag of her tapes at the back of our Church. No-one knew where they came from.I took them home and her teaching started to really help and rescue me when I was really struggling. Over the years, since then I have found so much wisdom and help from her teaching, thank-you so much Joyce...I love the Hand of Hope part of the ministry, what a practical blessing to so many many people
