There are still medical used for leeches, in my job as used to use them in plastic surgery to lower the size of heamatomas, under the skin flaps. I haven't worked in plastics in awhile, so it may have changed.

The crank machine 10:44 could’ve been set up to generate electricity for the local town.

Those poor cats that had to endure the cat organ 😭 Horrific. I’m so glad there was pushback, even back in the Victorian times.

#8: That contraption would cover you head to foot, front to back in filth unless you only used it on the cleanest and driest of surfaces.

One can still buy something akin to electric corsets: they are recently advertised as a new invention to improve abdominal muscle tone by regular short pulses of electricity to contract the muscles. Though they've been around since the 1960s: there exists a photo of Bruce Lee using one.

It wasn't a set of gears used to adjust how much resistance was applied to the crank. The box was filled with sand with sets of paddles on the crank axle, and the amount inside varied the resistance.

An organ that plays music by burning flammable gasses. In a closed theater. What could possibly go wrong?

Parasols were still around until at least 40 years ago, at least in sunny tourist areas. I still remember buying one for a girl around 1988 at a theme park so she could have some shade while standing in line for rides.

Talking about the crank machine you forgot to mention that is why in the UK at least the wardens are called "screws" because they used to increase the tension on the crank via a screw mechanism.
