Five Useful Siri Shortcuts for iOS 12

The iOS 12 update brought a major new feature, Siri Shortcuts, which is designed to let you create voice and tap-activated automations that can complete multiple complex tasks in just a few seconds.

Like “not now” to switch on do not disturb while I’m at this location. “Going out” to have a bunch of volume setting turn off wifi turn on bluetooth open overcast. Or “hardwell” plays hardwell and asot on overcast.

can someone show how to open a compose mail window when an email address is copied to clipboard? and not the default mail app, third party like Spark.. is it doable?

...or you could just say "Hey Siri, calculate 20% of $55.27" and she then gives you the tip amount and then the added total with tip. No need for you to get a shortcut app for that.

This is Apple putting lipstick on a pig. Siri is an absolute train wreck. It’s so slow, it’s stupid, and often times struggles with simplest of tasks. Please Apple just blow it up once and for all and bury they name “Siri”. It’s time for a fresh start.

Sorry but this version of SC is lame and weak. Nothing here that is useful. Most of this stuff you can just ask Siri to do.

Terrible speaking cadence. Speak naturally like we are sitting at a table over a coffee, not like you are reading a run on sentence filled with commas. You are trying to duplicate EDIT-->SPEECH-->START SPEAKING on the Macintosh. For example: this sentence, 0:30. Rising and falling pitch run on sentence. You'd fail public speaking.
