Good questions by Amy Coney Barret. It sounds as if she does understand how vulnerable this makes pregant women who have medical emergencies and leaves them in the hands of doctots, hospitals, and district attorneys who all may interpret the law different at a critical time.

In Mississippi, there are exceptions for rape and incest; however, the law is so vaguely worded that no doctor will abide by it. From fear of jail or prosecution. A 13-year-old rape victim became a mother the other day. Congress should pass bipartisan legislation to mandate some guidelines.

The doctors in good faith for life-saving care even though this is about abortion, let’s bring it back to Covid and the treatments that they wanted to do, but they were denied and fired

barett seems to tail the other women's justices, i thought she graduated summa, she always does do follow-up questions and if she finds herself prepared only after others asked, the she pounces the counsel. She is also observed to ask confirmatory question or just the sideways path of an argument.

Bravo for Amy Coney Barrett, the only person on the court who has ever been pregnaant!
She followed up Justice Sotomeyer's well taken criticism... the Idaho attorney is hedging....hoping that the he can represent his position one way, when in fact in practice in a medical emergency for the women the law could well operate in reality quite Thank you Justice Barrett, I am so grateful for you on the court right now. I used to live in Idaho and love that state, but this attorney is playing both sides.

1864 when the use of anesthetic in childbirth was regarded as a sin because it avoided the biblical curse pronounced against Eve. Thanks GOP Voters. BRILLIANT!

This is a short clip. I'm not sure of the context. If a pregnant woman 8 months along has her life in danger (high blood pressure, etc.) it takes 20 minutes for an emergency C-section and 48 hours prep for an 'emergency' abortion. Don't buy the "we need abortion to save the life of the mother" bullshit. A C-section works much quicker and the kid lives.

Hospitals and the pro abortion clubs are grandstanding on this issue....they know damn well if the mothers life is in danger they can legally abort the child in Idaho period. All these Hospitals and their doctor mouthpieces want to say the law is unclear and we don't want to take a chance of being prosecuted so please send them to another state is all nonsense! The killing of a life in the womb is illegal in Idaho as it should be...unless giving birth to that child risks the mothers life!
