Delhi: CM Arvind Kejriwal announced relaxation of lockdown restrictions in the national capital

After several weeks of lockdown being imposed in the national capital, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced unlock guidelines for Delhi. Metro services will start functioning with 50% capacity while markets and malls will be open on an odd-even basis. The number of cases in the national capital have been declining for the past few weeks and people are also getting vaccinated in large numbers. Delhi was badly hit during the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic with several people being unable to find hospital beds or medical oxygen.
