So right with his comments, go the Hero 9 and purchased the GoPro / Nflight cable, but GoPro have revamped the Firmware/ software so the cables will not work unless I also purchase the Med Mod . So my advice is if it works don’t upgrade, but if your about to buy the Hero 9 for flying/ intercom dont

Got a Gopro9 for work anniversary last year, personally I don't like it, battery life is terbial and I looked at the audio connectors and they cost too much. the Video looks great, but the files are big and take too much space and are hard to edit. I'm much happier with my $49 EKEN gopro 3 knockoff and my $29 audio recorder.
