With all that is happening around the world with this new strain of bird flu, my question is can this strain enter the water through humans then into the sewer treatment then back to reservoirs that hold treated water, or is it killed off by the water treatment process.

Awesome info! Great news about the calcium dependent antibiotics, even if effective use wont be available for some time. Also quite unfortunate the CDC is losing the ability to measure epidemiological data of disease before they spread to the US via international travel. Just one of many short-sighted legislative blows to science under current administration.
