M2.0 + M3.9 Solar Flares + CMEs (8/25/2014)

Region 2146 produced a pair of M-Class solar flares. The first, an M2.0 at 15:10 UTC, generated a bright coronal mass ejection (CME) that was directed mostly to the west, but may have a weaker Earth directed component. The second flare, an M3.9 event at 20:21 UTC, generated a weaker CME that appears to be directed to the west and away from Earth. Attached video captures both solar flares and the resulting CMEs.
