Out of all the deaths, Fred's death was the one that touched me the most. I think it's because when I first started listening to the audiobooks, I was only a few years older than the twins, so I was more connected with them. I could relate to them more.

So when Fred died, it was like losing a friend.

My headcanon is that Fred stuck around as a ghost, but only appeared to George. Their plan is that when George dies, their ghosts will both return to Hogwarts, easily told apart as George's ghost will look much older than Fred's.
