I think a lot more goes into recommending which phone someone should get. As someone upgrading from a 6s, it's the 12 pro all the way as I know it's going to be more future proof, as slight as it may be, over the standard 12. I usually go about upgrading every few years so I'd rather go and spend a little more to get a little more knowing that the extra ram/storage will make it more future iOS proof.

I went with the iPhone 12. 12 Pro is out of stock at T-Mobile until December. Would rather get my phone in 2 days and skip the telephoto lens.

The colors are far better on the pro models. I'm looking to upgrade from my SE 2016 to the mini though because I don't like big phones. I love that the screen to body ratio is so much better while keeping the overall size small. $729 bucks is ridiculous though.

Nice job on the comparison but the real price difference is $150 once you bring the iPhone 12 up to 128 gigs and then the question becomes only $150 for the pro?

Both look the same other than the glass back and not so small notch.
