Okay, so I just read about interpreting dna results for sibling dna tests and the “combined relationship index” isn’t based on percentage of your relationship. They basically give you a numerical value based on the number of STR (short tandem repeat) markers that are the same in your dna strand. Yours is a 3, which means you have 3 STR strands in common. It’s not enough to determine a familial relationship. This doesn’t mean you are siblings of any kind, only that somewhere in each of your family line you have a common ancestor. Y’all are all good. Now, I’m not a doctor or geneticist or even in the medical field. So I really don’t know anything and am just giving you info on what I read. Anyway, just be happy and plan that wedding! 😊

I said in the first video comments that you would probably be distant cousins, and you found out you are distant cousins. This is probably due to sharing a common ancestor 4 or 5 generations back. Given that you are both probably of Scandinavian descent, you share a common ancestor. Be proud of your mutual heritage. I suggest that you both get an Ancestry DNA test to explore your roots.

Imagine the results said: "...were not conclusive in determining... _HOWEVER_ Libby is definitely Hunter's uncle."😄.
Other than having identical hair and skin, you two don't actually look alike (but God bless the weird people in the comments sections for making this fun content a reality👍). Everyone on the planet is practically related to some or other degree - it doesn't matter at all. Enjoy the rest of your lives together (and the hair looks _fabulous_ dah-ling😎).

3% Means that you both have blood lines in the USA. Somewhere in far far past there may have been x 1 common ancestor.

Didn’t you take the DNA test to prove that you are not siblings-specifically, not twins, given your shared birthdate? It appears that you are, in fact, NOT siblings and certainly NOT twins. You are both white, blond, tall, American & the same age so is it really a big surprise that you share a few genetic markers? This result is of no concern. Please carry on and put this question to rest. ✌️

3% is sharing a 3x great grand parent or multiple more distant relatives. i assume there must be something in your history that you arent sure if you are siblings or not. 1st cousins share about 25% of their dna. if you are really interested you should do one of the autosomal dna tests. they are good to about 4-5 generations back. you may discover relatives you dont know you have.

Nothing to worry about re: the DNA tests. You could actually be 3rd or 4th or 5th cousins but nothing to worry about.
