That can't sell cars now. Good luck driving prices up more.

The car manufacturers don’t care about selling the car. It’s about their investors and making another billion in profits. They could easily absorb these tariffs. If you don’t really need a vehicle let them rot on the lot

A Ford Bronco $80000? Are you kidding me, it only worth $40000 !

Just bought a Ford Bronco, brand new, for $7, 100 BELOW MSRP. It was a 100 day 2024. Couldn't be happier.

I think if car dealerships attempt to go back to pandemic pricing that they'll go out of business. There is inventory on the lot right now. Boat loads of it. You can't convince someone a car is rare if it's staring them in the face x100. And customers aren't buying right now. Why would they suddenly buy when it's yet even more expensive? Customers already hate the current crop of cars so much, they won't touch them.

The insanely high pricing shall continue until sales improve! At least one of the decision makers at Ford or this dealer needs to have their head examined

Wait until there's a Market Adjustment and a Tariff Adjustment.

If you’ve been living under a rock regarding automobile manufacturers. Ford motor company just sent me an advertising solicitation for their vehicles.
I haven’t purchased a Ford vehicle in over 16 years.
Ya just think??

Something most don't understand about a global economy is this: real wealth is what you have that you have already paid for that has worth. This happens in an economy when a dollar goes from one person to another over and over and at each transactions, the giver of the dollar gets something added to their wealth. When that dollar goes overseas, it no longer enriches your neighbors. When it stays here, it does. When our economy was its strongest, just after WW2, most every dollar stayed here. That is why we had the boom we did, not just because the men returned from war, although that was a major contributor. But more than that, it was because the guy who bought a car, gave his money to the dealer, who bought windows, then that guy bought a BBQ, then that guy bought... etc. And all of that was in-country. Almost.

Not only are these new vehicles overpriced, but they are not mechanically sound. These newer engines are terrible. Gm's 10 speed transmission is junk. 90k for a Yukon Denali???? Some over a 100k. I paid 29k for my first house!! I just can't justify these prices, so I'll just keep driving my old Chevy truck.

Re: People reluctant to buy anything now, me too, but imagine if only 40% of the Country feels that way and holds off on Boom! Recession. BTW, I think we have every right to feel that way, the trigger for this is loss of Consumer Confidence due to uncertainty about the future and that will always slow the Economy, we are merely reacting to current conditions. I'm saving every penny and putting off every purchase I can. I don't expect many vehicle sales after the Tariffs hit because there already aren't enough sales at lower prices.

General Motors sales jump 17% in 1st quarter of 2025, with EV sales nearly doubling! Is GM giving away a FREE TOW TRUCK with every purchase?? Average transaction price is $51, 000!

All the more reason to just invest in what you already have. If you spend HALF of what these dealerships want for new and even used cars, your vehicle would pretty much be brand new all over again and you could do it on your own time frame instead of paying a crazy amount PLUS interest every month! Plus the older the vehicle, the better it's made!😕😕😕

Comparing a Ford build sheet from 2 months ago and a winder sticker from a local dealership that I downloaded at that time, for an F250, Ford has raised their prices on packages. Upfitter switches, STX package cost, …. All increased. Build the same exact F250 last night on Fords website and that same truck is over $2k more!

They’re trying to come off as being patriotic and discounting, but my build sheets show the exact opposite!

Shocked that Cloninger Ford would try that type of shannigans. I always thought Larry ran an above board operation. Maybe things have changed over the years....
