Root canal is mandatory bcoz post( either fibre or of metal ) has to b fixed in 2/3rd portion for better fit, so without root canal it wud pain n it pathological sequel will start progressing with worsening signs n symptoms following failure of postn ultimately crown of tooth

i stop doing white fiber post for build up, after 5 years, the fiber post became soft. i would never knew if patient has not fracture her tooth, when i extracted the tooth and found out the post is very very soft . i stop using this white fiber post after that.
