Bend test on niobium-microalloyed reinforcement bar

"Rebar", is used in concrete structures to enable them to support tensile stresses since concrete does not generally perform well in tension. The video illustrates a bend test done on a niobium microalloyed reinforcement bar. The bar diameter is 12.5 mm and this video uses a larger diameter mandrel. The ability to bend the bar is important in construction where engineering structures are created from long bars.
