The whole Scoot situation is the reason why I don't think a redraft makes sense until 2 seasons in at the earliest. Because otherwise there is always the "yeah, he had a bad year, but he is still the most talented" argument, which makes the whole exercise kind of pointless

Nah Wembys clearly a bust. Should’ve gone second round

I'm not a Miami fan, but Jáquez still has time to improve. He's more or less the average age of a 90s or early 2000s rookie. It's not like he's 37.

This might be one of the best drafts of all time…. Imo you are way too low on GG Jackson he has all the tools to become a star and Ja says he is destined to be one. He had a few huge games this year he flashed that upside as the youngest player in the league and he was the top high school recruit before college. If he returned to school or knowing what we know now and he was in 2024 draft I think he would have case for 1st overall this year

Rockets basically got 2 top5 picks. Amen is so good defensively and Cam is a offensive beast. 🚀🚀

Fun fact: Jamie Jaquez is older than Evan Mobley

I understand your logic with Jaimi Jacques, but here is the problem, just because other prospects are younger doesn’t mean that they will pan out.

As a matter of fact, most players won’t pan out or even be in the league in a few years, despite of their age. If you watched him play this season with is basketball IQ, footwork, and competitiveness, I think his ceiling could be similar to a Jimmy Bulter.

Jaime jaquez took your girl or something

Obviously you’re not a Heat fan, how is Jaime at his ceiling already. Terrible take. He was hurt and started to get better towards the end of the season when he got more healthy

Tim Duncan was 22, played four years at Wake Forest and is one of the best players of the last 25 years

I still find it funny how the Lakers chose JHS at 17 over Jacquez, Podz & Whitmore all at 18, 19 & 20 respectively lmao

it’s actually insane how amen didn’t make 1st team all rookie this season over “podz” even with his shooting flaws

So when you are 23 your ceiling is over. Who told you that. Bro experience increases as time goes

How can you say we are at Jaquez’s ceiling? I never understand when people say that. How many players do you know stopped improving after age 23? This is type of thinking that leads GM to take a raw 19-year-old prospect over a four-year college player who will end up being the better player, aka big mistakes. How many of the first 26 teams in the 2017 draft wish they could go back in time and take Kyle Kuzma but passed on him because he was 22?

Jaime at 16 is insane for a few reasons 1 even if you thought he was at his Ceiling bc he’s 23(crazy) even just for what he did his rookie year he should be higher than 16. 2 by the time the all star break came he played more minutes than his entire senior year AND had a super expanded role on an injury riddled heat team. 3 provided super valuable good minute in the playoffs

GG AT 19. Tell us you don't know basketball without telling us.

You had a chance at 20/20 hindsight and somehow slept on GG again.

Lol Jaime Jacquez Jr would be at top 5 absolutely when they redraft these rookies.
