@VibrationPak Don't think so. When they had the in-between solution on the 747s I really thought they had figured it out, but to describe it as one of the best...well I guess it always depends on your respective expectations, but I still believe it is an ok product that however doesn't justify its price if compared to others. I'm very happy with EK, SQ (on 777 only because a380 bed is just a cheap plastic bed in suites), CX and BA F products, I couldn't really say the same for our friends at LH

oh and that you mention the BA seat
LH´s seat is WAY wider and the pitch is way higher
you might prefer this narrow layout
i and many others prefer the open feel of LH (and if not in the mood we raise the privacy wall)
not to talk about the used materials for seat and cabin

Lufthansa´s new first class products is one of the best out there!
Definitely more worthy than Emirates...
Especially the 747 400 First Cabin is awesome!
This new Business Class isn´t bad at all, I think you need to try it to judge it!

Swiss is a full but independent part of the Lufthansa group. I will put it like this. :)

The Actual swiss international airlines as we know it today was founded using founds from both investors and swiss government but also lufthansa gave small amounts of company founds to get the airlines moving this enabled lufthansa to adopt Swiss air into the Lufthansa group. I might have gotten mixed up with the avro´s but the A330 were all order together not under the same name but fully as all Lufthansa group since swiss is a full member of the group.

I'm not saying there is something wrong. I simply prefer the others, also BA to LH. That is not to say that everybody would need to agree, just my opinion as I said in my previous post. On privacy, yes SQ and EK would have an advantage, were BA obviously doesn't. But I just like the feel of the new BA F better than LH. The whole experience to me just feels sleeker, a bit more modern. Yes you can look at seat figures now, but its the overall experience that counts for me.

Also other airlines like German wings with is the cheep carrier of Lufthansa is fully financed by them while like i sad swiss is independent but still fully run by the Lufthansa group.

I know since the actual adoption was in late 2004 after discussions between one-world and its leader british airways failed in 2002 but only since lufthansa helped to invest in the international fleet during founding they were able to convince swiss. Also since swiss was founded out of Cross-air which only had avro´s and old Swiss air planes lufthansa helped to make the actual Swiss air. So i must have said it wrong they helped to make SWR what it is from beginning on. :) greetings from germany.

This is again not correct although managed as a separate national carrier it was founded by the Lufthansa group after the collapse of Swiss air. The new A330 fleet and A340 together with the avro´s were all order under the Lufthansa name together with lufthansa´s new A330 that will be soon to come. Swiss is an Fully Independent carrier fully owned by Lufthansa. This info is correct since a friend of ours works for the Lufthansa Financial group. Greetings from Germany.

then you´re in minority with your opinion
most passengers are excited about the new first product especially on the 747 400
and first class is NOT only about privacy
(by the way, you have a big privacy screen in new F)
on 747 there is a private atmosphere anyway due to the upper deck
of course a suit offers more privacy - therefore it is claustrophobic (and ugly as hell when it comes to emirates)

and from my point of view i don´t think that you are indeed a HON circle member
and that you haven´t been on LH´s new products at all
as you are not able to answer my questions and even didn´t know about the privacy scrren on LH´s new F which almost converts the open seat to somewhat like a seperate cabin
i don´t take you´re opinion personally, i just claim the way you are telling it
you can not deliver any facts and you only claim "this is not a real F cabin!"

Sad...really sad...they had so much time to come up with a new product and THIS is what they came up with?? Not impressed at all. I'll stick with CX and SQ, at least they seem to actually put some of their clients money into design, and we're not even talking about the service...

In a european airlines you will never find much privacy its not the culture . Lufthansa rocks since it is the safets airlines and it has great service. ER and SQ are for privacy andnthere products look to dark and since im german i love the german women

you are rite but Swiss is lufthansa so lufthansa is the best. SWISS is 100% Lufthansa
