Can Twins Cause a Negative Pregnancy Test?
A pregnancy test can be falsely negative when there are elevated levels of the hormone beta human chorionic gonadotrophins. The excess level can make the pregnancy test negative.
Pregnancy with more than one fetus is called multiple pregnancies.
About 90% of multiple pregnancies are twins.

How non identical twins are conceived?
The non-identical twins are also called fraternal twins or dizygotic twins
Results when two separate eggs are fertilized by two separate spermatozoa.
This type is commoner accounting for two-third of the twin gestation

Each of the babies will develop its own placenta and separate amniotic sac
They are more like siblings sharing the same womb

How identical twins are conceived?
Identical twins result from fertilization of one egg, by one sperm which subsequently divides into two separate embryos
Also called monozygotic twins
They are always of the same sex, and looks exactly alike
Types of identical twins
There are different types of identical twins depending on when the fertilized egg divide. The earlier the division occur the more independent the babies will be.
When the division occurs within the first 72 hours after fertilization, results in two separate blastocysts eventually being implanted. They will have different placenta and different amniotic sac. This is referred to as dichorionic diamniotic identical twins
When the division occurs between 4 to 8 days it results in two babies sharing the same placenta but each with separate amniotic sacs
When the division occurs between 8 to 13 days after fertilization, both twins will share the same placenta and the same amniotic sac
Attempts at division after 13 days result in incomplete twins and the formation of conjoint twins and monsters.

Am also missed my periods 15 days delay and ill take test also 2 times its negative ill concern my doctor also and they told we wait 1 week and next we do the scanning if your periods will came continue your normal days otherwise it will still negative and periods delay means we go through next procedure i hope for best but other fact mindset is periods delay is not only for pragnancy several type of reason also there
