The Intersection of Prevention and Recovery Part 1: Where and How the Roads Cross

When we look at the IOM “fan” of the continuum of care it would lead us to believe we are on opposite ends of the spectrum, yet we know there is all this brilliant opportunity to cross train in-between. There is so much to learn from each area of specialty and work together more effectively. This workshop will help us drill down from the community level to the very individual level, putting a face on substance use disorder and the personal toll it takes and how the fields of prevention and recovery overlap and work together.
