Nuna Leaf Curv vs 4moms MamaRoo REVIEW 2015 | ratings | comparisons | prices

Both of these baby bouncers produce natural, gentle motions that babies love, and neither requires batteries: the Leaf just needs a gentle push from you to get it moving (for a few minutes at a time), and the MamaRoo plugs into the wall.

The Nuna Leaf has a single swaying, side-to-side motion, imitating the motion of a leaf falling from a tree. It’s very unique among baby bouncers in that it won’t be outgrown immediately: older babies can make it move on their own by kicking, and toddlers and big kids can use it as a place to lounge or even read a book. It’s also upholstered with better-for-baby Oeko-Tex certified fabrics.

The 4moms MamaRoo uses robotic technology to imitate the motions that parents use to bounce their babies – it offers a total of 5 motions with 5 speeds. The MamaRoo also can play music: it comes with a variety of songs and nature sounds, and you can even plug in your iPod to customize your lullabies. A recently-added feature lets you use your phone as a remote control for your MamaRoo, so if you don’t want to tiptoe into the room and risk waking the baby, you can change the motion or music from the next room!

I got the Nuna leaf when my son was a couple months old as we couldn’t stand the motor noise on our last bouncer which also only worked up to 6 months! Only just popped it back in the storage cupboard a year ago after 3 solid years of use and let me tell you there is not a single scratch on it or thread out of place! Quality quality quality and completely silent. The only thing I’ll say is the pendulum sway would never go for 2 minutes much less 5! I’ll try the the nuna wind for the next babe.

Thanks for the intro but where is the “vs”? I was hoping to make a decision based on your comparison.

I do not reccommend this expensive item... Our baby born Febuary 2016 ..
Her Mamaroo is going back today under warranty for a full refund.
Problem a 6-7 month old infant has worn away the weakest part on the
Mobile ( The Overhanging arm with the 3 padded balls ). Our baby pulling
on the mobile ring where the 3 padded balls fit has worn the flimsy
plastic part where the arm fits INTO the top of the chair above the
babies head . Been onto the agents here in the U.K. who state after
sending me the wrong replacement part yesterday the part needed is not available
untill January 2017. I wish I could show images of the faulty part. Our baby now
at 7months old can pull that mobile arm out of its connecting point by herself...
Whilst fastened in the chair....
