Been there Lorraine a life time ago don't be surprised it comes out of pit green.Never did it again because frost damaged sward and had to reseed. Doesn't stop me enjoying your videos.Keeo up the good work 👍👍👍

Have a neighbour in southern scotland who was badly hit by drought, eventually got one field of second cut down a month ago as it never grew at all after first cut in late june till early september other field looks like its now deffered grazing as we have only had two dry days in last three months

There was a contractor out last weekend in mayo making bales so ur not de only one still out at silage but not sure if it's late for this year or early for next year

I’d imagine your having to put on a high dose of additive to make the grass ferment better seen as the sugars would surely be low this time of year?

Lorraine did they apply a additive I was lifting the same day and was advised to apply an acid additive

This is global warming at it's finest, down south farmers are zero grazing still where ground conditions allow.
