I got this little amp for cheap, and it surprisingly fantastic for the price! How will it do in a studio mix?

This is in the top 5 best pieces of guitar gear they produced. It can nail a Mesa rectifier, a 5150, a lot of Marshall sounds, and the dynamic range of the equalizer is insane. I have a lot of amps, and obviously some much better, but I've hung onto these for about 20 years.
I chopped one down and turned it into a mini head, and left the other as a combo.
The Jensen 10" MOD is my favorite speaker of all time, and I have some high-end amps and speakers including a couple tube heads.
*The short coming with these is they can be fairly short on volume when you use a deeply scooped tone and shred and sweep like I do, but they are superb at delivering a very deeply scooped tone.*

*Even my high end tube and solid-state heads tend to need a graphic EQ on the effects loop to give a properly scooped tone.*

Just bought one of these for $35! I love it. Keep it in my living room, for when i dont want to fully set up, it's my go to practice amp now. Solid demo, man!

Behringer makes some surprisingly decent stuff. The GM108 ( little bro to the one you are playing thru) actually sounds decent as well. Then there is the AC108, a small tube hybrid acoustic amp. I have put some serious awesome sounds out of it with a regular electric 6 string. Hard to beat em for the money. Anyway, great playing and review as always.

I have 2 of these. One I use regularly and one as a backup. They are the most versatile amps I have ever played through. From clean to full on scooped metal it delivers. And with the XLR Direct out it's perfect for recording. If you don't have one, get one before they go away. Just use your Overdrive and Distortion in the front and you modulation time based effects through the loop and you it will cover just about anything.

Have a pair of these i bought bavk in 06. Ive used them live micd up and in rehearsals. Theyre pretty awesom. Basically a copy of a tech 21 without the tech 21 price tag.

That tone @5:40 has real Sabath vibes!

Loaned mine out years ago to a friend in town. Lost touch with him, but was thinking of getting back in touch with him to see if he was still using it. Then I heard he passed away due to covid a couple of years ago. Sad. I don't have the heart to contact his widow to see if she still has it in their garage.

Definitely 2002. Was my first amp. It sucked for sure but I did my first record with it and the Roland Micro Cube (in the L & R channels respectively)
