This is honestly one of the best thought out reviews on any skating gear I've seen. Real nice work Justin.

You may need softer bushings. Is it possible that you are loosening you bushings to the point where there is no pressure on them anymore? An easy way to test this is if you can spin the washer with your fingers then they are too loose.

what is the difference between the forty-four and the blackouts? and how good do you think they are for sliding? would you prefer Paris for slides??

i run these on my setup and they are a great all around truck and my favorites in fact. They are cheap(relatively) and high quality, and they offer a wide variety of things you can do. I found that for me, a heavier rider(around 170lbs), these trucks are great for freeride and downhill. They can take anything i've thrown at them and i could not be happier with these trucks.

will venoms fit as well as other trucks. I had some bears and it was hard as hell to get them in and they didnt sit well at all

I ride a baby killer Drop through and I was wondering if these 44 calibers would wheel bite with 70mm wheels... Please reply.

They work great. No complaints. I would say I prefer the 50cals, but thats just me. Running 85a venoms all around with flat washers, and they work great for dh and free riding.

do the kingpin's come out? if they do switch to a shorter and maybe more heavy duty one that will lock itself in place. im not sure of the cunstruction of the baseplates so can't really say whats what though. sorry:/ but i freeride with tight ass trucks, so i guess. some training wouldn't hurt right?

What's the height difference between the 44 and 50 degree Calibers? If i wanted to run a split setup, what kind of riser should i use?

I ve bustin maestro 7 ply with orangatan yellow durian 75 mm. Was thinking of putting 50caliber, 10". I want to use it mainly for in city commuting on flat rough roads, carving and sliding. Will there b a chance of wheel bite on my setup ?

That is an interesting question. I will do some measuring and get back to you. Might have to try that myself.

hey Justin. After like a year of skating these trucks, have you discovered any weaknesses in them? Are they still straight or have they bent? Did you have to replace your pivot cup often?

I have been shredding Calibers for quite some time now and have never bent an axle.
